LAMPLIGHT SERIES #9
July 29, 2026

BRECKENRIDGE

An Evening of Sound, Soul, and Mountain Spirit: Los Otros Live at Country Boy Mine

There’s something special about a summer evening in the mountains—the last light over the peaks, the sound of music drifting through the valley, and a community gathering around something that feels both familiar and unforgettable. On July 29, the Lamplight Series brings that feeling to life once again... this time at one of Breckenridge’s most historic settings: Country Boy Mine.

The Lamplight Series was created around a simple idea: bring people together through live music, local creativity, and shared experiences. What began as an intimate gathering has grown into a beloved Summit County tradition, connecting musicians, artists, and neighbors through thoughtfully curated evenings that celebrate the character of the mountain community.

Summit County Favorites, Los Otros, Take Center Stage

As golden hour begins to glow over the Tenmile Range, The Lamplight Series #9 featured performance welcomes longtime local favorites Los Otros to the stage with their gritty sound rooted in soul, blues, and rock—the kind of raw, high-energy that feels right at home in Breckenridge.

The band features Steve Furno on vocals and guitar, Joe Zubia on drums, Brett Lomaro on bass, and Maureen Bozsan on violin. Together, they create a dynamic, all-original set that blends gritty grooves, expressive musicianship, and the unmistakable chemistry of a band that has grown alongside its community.

Bringing Together Music, Art, and Community

This experience begins well before the first note. Doors open at 3 pm, inviting guests to spend the afternoon exploring the grounds, browsing local art, and soaking in the historic atmosphere of Country Boy Mine. Visitors can enjoy mine tours from 3–5 pm, shop a collection of local vendors, and watch live painting from Funk Labyrinth. Featured makers and creatives include Boundary Line, Side Stance Society and their Bikini Bar, Antler & Crown Hat Bar, Flour Power Bakery, Borek Jewelers, KP Mountain Metals, and more.

Food truck options and drinks from Mythology Distillery will be available throughout the evening, making it easy to settle in and make a full afternoon and night of the experience. DJ Joey Snow kicks things off at 3 pm before Los Otros take the stage at 6 pm. After the featured set, the evening continues with the Lamplight Series open jam—a chance for musicians and community members to share the stage and keep the music going.

Set against the backdrop of Breckenridge’s high-country landscape, this gathering captures what makes summer in the mountains special: local talent, open-air connection, and the feeling that everyone is part of the same story.

We hope to see you at the Lamplight Series at Country Boy Mine for this special evening of sound, soul, and mountain spirit—where the music is live, the community is close, and the memories last long after the final note.
